Good Day WOB Fans,

I promised under my first amendment right as a media personality to make Greg 10% this week or loose everything on his paper portfolio. Greg asked if I was  going ” overboard? ” I replied, ” Of course I am.”

I bought 20,000 shares of  Evergreen Energy(EEE) @ an average price of 1.15 per share before 10 am.I already sold our shares @$1.50 per share for a seven thousand dollar profit. (20,000 x .35= $ 7,000.00). I also bought 2k shares of Whirpool (WHR) at $ 77.50 after the open and got triggered  @ $79.50 before 10a.m. for a 2k profit.  Whirlpool announced this past  Friday they would be laying off people to strengthen the bottom line. Layoffs is a word that often temporarily augments the price of any stock – knock on wood. I saw the opportunity – and it paid off.

Since Greg said I was “overboard; ” I decided not to make my friend a lier. I took the entire $ 225,000.00 and bought 3,500 shares of Cognizant Technology (CTSH) @ 59.10  after 11 a.m.  and we will know by the close if I’m Really “overboard” or not.

The more I think about it; Greg may actually decide to throw me overboard if the market continues to bleed.
